River Triffo

River started working in television production over 30 years ago and has been involved in more than 400 hours of television programming and corporate projects. Over the years she has earned multiple credits for more than 30 different pre-production and production crew positions covering almost everything from researcher to creative producer. A few of the docuseries and documentaries she has been part of are Beyond Medicine, Disasters of the Century, Crime Stories, Legend Hunters, The Re-Inventors, Dad, Escape from Iran, 13 Seconds among many others .

In addition to television programming River has helped produce hundreds of corporate projects and TV commercials for reginal, national and international clients such as Sasktel, Saskpower, FCC, K+S Potash Canada, BHP Billiton and the Saskatchewan Union of Nurses.

River has worked on projects for broadcasters like, History Television, A&E, Discovery International, Travel Channel USA/Canada, Discovery Channel USA/ Canada, City-TV and many others. These programs have won many prestigious awards from numerous festivals including the Yorkton Film Festival, Hot Docs and the American Emmy Awards. These projects can be seen in more than 150 countries, in more than 30 languages.

Over the last few years River has been an integral part of the pre-production and production teams for three seasons of the documentary series Nordic Lodge, two seasons of the docuseries Bridging Borders, three seasons of Mobile MD, and her current project is the docuseries Guardians of the North.
