Doctor Brings Medical Care to Those in Need During Pandemic
MOBILE MD (SEASON THREE) PREMIERES IN CANADA
Wavelength Entertainment, an award-winning international media production company, is pleased to announce the broadcast premiere of new episodes for a brand new, homegrown original series beginning Monday March 7 at 10pm CST on CityTV Saskatchewan.
Dr. Samantha Henley knows that many people outside the city do not have easy access to healthcare. Because of this, some in remote and rural areas do not seek help for their chronic illnesses and injuries. When left untreated, these prolonged health issues can lead to serious or life-threatening conditions. Dr. Henley makes the decision to leave her comfortable successful city practice and packs her bags and equipment into a mobile home so she can bring much needed medical help to the remote prairies.

Episode 5 – TBA
“Once again, my dogs and I hit the road in a motorhome to travel the Province, providing medical coverage in rural and remote areas. Our adventures continued with seeing people who have had difficulty accessing or have neglected to see a doctor. Some people are struggling to find a diagnosis. This season will continue to educate and entertain audiences on tv and online. We had to take extra precautions by moving a lot of filming outdoors, testing regularly, ensuring up to date vaccinations, and screening patients before the crew arrived for filming. We have even postponed filming the final episode until Spring. Massive thanks to Creative Saskatchewan, Joanne McDonald and Will Dixon at CityTV Saskatchewan, the Canada Media Fund and other partners whose support allows us to tell these stories",
says Doctor Samantha Henley (Producer/Host).
This series was produced in association with Citytv Saskatchewan and made possible with the involvement of the Creative Saskatchewan Television Production Grant, Canada Media Fund, SaskTel Equity Investment Fund and the Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit. A virtual reality/360 project is also in production to augment the television series. The series can also be seen in various international territories including: United States, New Zealand, Israel and United Kingdom.
